Finally: Skillets getting on an airplane for the US
over 2 years ago – Sun, Sep 26, 2021 at 04:42:46 PM

A quick update to let you know we have a confirmed air freight slot out of Pudong Airport (Shanghai) this coming Wednesday. We're shipping the three pallets of skillets all the way through to Nashville (our location) by air to speed up the process, and expect to be through customs and able to start sending your skillets to you the following Monday or Tuesday. We'll post further updates as the process takes place.

Thanks so much for your support and patience!

Serious Shipping Delays
over 2 years ago – Wed, Sep 01, 2021 at 08:06:17 AM

We need to let all of you know that we are dealing with a major shipping problem getting our skillets from the factory and onto a plane for the USA. The Port of Ningbo has been  closed, which  overloaded the port at Shanghai, both of which has caused a huge overload of the  air cargo facilities at  Pudong Airport in Shanghai — as shippers have been changing their method from sea freight to air freight. Now, the main cargo terminal at Pudong has also been closed. The air cargo operations at Pudong have warned shippers not to send trucks with goods to the airport until the terminal is reopened and the backlog is cleared, as there are apparently many hundreds of trucks lined up for many miles along the roads.

We are told that we should expect at least a 2 to 3 week delay, but that the freight forwarder being used is experienced, and will be able to get our three pallets of skillets onto a plane as soon as possible.

If there is any good news, it is that the production run of 9-inch skillets is done and packed, that they are gorgeous, and that the only issue now is just getting them onto a cargo plane and headed this way.

We'll keep you all updated as the situation changes.

Still Need Survey Responses, Please Read!
over 2 years ago – Fri, Aug 20, 2021 at 08:20:21 AM

"We are still missing nearly half of the survey responses. If you seem to have not received a survey email from BackerKit for our campaign, there is a web page explaining several steps to help. Please visit this page and follow its guidance.

https://help.backerkit.com/article/494-494

We need a survey response from everybody wanting their reward skillet sent to them. No survey response, no skillet, simply because we cannot ship out with unverified backer and address information.

Please search your spam or junk folders for "backerkit" or "foreverware."

If nothing else results in getting our survey email to you, then email us directly at [email protected], being sure to state your name as it was entered in your Kickstarter pledge.

The factory is preparing the product shipment, which will then have a 6 to 8 day air freight trip to Tennessee, where we will immediately begin shipping individual rewards. But... we need your information verified!

50% Of Updates Still Missing!
over 2 years ago – Wed, Aug 18, 2021 at 11:34:15 PM

This is just an additional way to bring your post-campaign survey to your attention, as half of you have not replied to multiple emailed survey attempts.

If you pledged for a reward product, you must submit a survey response, or we will not be able to ship your  reward product to you.

Please... Submit your survey if you have not done so!

And, FYI... We are still on track to ship rewards the first week of September. :-)

ForeverWare Surveys Are Sent
almost 3 years ago – Wed, Aug 04, 2021 at 04:20:57 PM

Hi All... Check your email, as the surveys just went out. There is no lid option yet because we can't approve final prototypes for production until at least mid-August. When the time comes we have a shipping lid, we'll alert you and give you preferential pricing.
